The message of Vladimir Putin reads, in part:
“We are rightly proud of the Russian workers, engineers and designers whose creative genius produced unique and worldwide renowned models of weapons. The names of such talented gunsmiths as Pavel Zakhava, Sergei Mosin, Georgy Shpagin and Mikhail Kalashnikov will forever remain in the heroic military history of Russia. Today, defense industry development is one of the state’s priorities. We are improving its scientific and research support, developing and implementing the most advanced technology. The training programs for defense industry professionals are being greatly enhanced. I believe that all of you will continue to work hard to achieve performance targets and strengthen the country’s defense capability and national security.”

Earlier the Russian President Vladimir Putin sent the Kyrgyzstan President a congratulatory message, which reads, in part:
"Your activity as the head of state, focused on solving Kyrgyzstan’s current socioeconomic development issues and enhancing its international position, has earned you the well-deserved respect of your fellow countrymen and high respect from abroad. Russia highly appreciates your personal contribution toward strengthening our strategic partnership and the allied relations between our two countries, and promoting constructive interaction within the EAEU, CSTO and other multilateral structures."

Vladimir Putin sent a message of greetings to participants of the meeting marking the 50th anniversary of the International Association of Teachers of Russian Language and Literature (MAPRYAL).

The message of President Putin reads, in part:
"Over the past years, MAPRYAL has earned high and well-deserved recognition as the largest international association focused on the development, study and promotion of the Russian language and literature. Today, MAPRYAL is successfully operating in 70 countries. Its members include the world’s major universities, language schools, publishing companies as well as prominent researchers, teachers, journalists and public figures. The association has moved forward some popular educational projects and outreach campaigns. It is involved in extensive research and develops new and promising teaching methods, and organizes academic and cultural events. I am certain this anniversary conference will be a creative and constructive event initiating some extraordinary and useful projects that will definitely be brought to life."

MAPRYAL’s anniversary conference is taking place on September 15 in Paris, where 50 years ago the International Association of Teachers of Russian Language and Literature was established as a public non-profit organization at its foundation conference.

It is gratifying to see that the region is developing a diversified industrial and agricultural complex, modern transport, and social infrastructure. It is important that these developments do not hinder the conservation of Altai’s unique wildlife and the biodiversity of its ecosystem. This territory is famous for its nature reserves and archaeological sites, and its fascinating itineraries for mountaineering, skiing, water sports, hunting and fishing enthusiasts. This is what makes the region one of the most attractive tourist destinations in the country.”

“Over the past 25 years, the republic has made great strides in strengthening its economic potential and social sphere, as well as in implementing the much-needed projects to promote the tourism and recreation industries. What matters is that the people of Karachayevo-Circassia take good care of their history, their unique culture and the customs of their forefathers, as well as the centuries-old traditions of friendship and neighborliness. They are working hard to achieve the republic’s goals, the most important of which are to attract investment, create new modern jobs and improve the living standards and the quality of life in the republic. Also, priority attention must be given to maintaining public accord and stability in the North Caucasus.”
