Mr. Sotkilava left a rich creative heritage; he educated talented students and made a unique contribution to the development of national performance arts.”

Zurab Sotkilava has died in Moscow on the 18th of September at the age of 80.

Daniil Granin died in St Petersburg on July 4. He was 98.
