Vladimir Putin expressed his deep condolences to the family and friends of the late Vera Glagoleva, theatre and cinema actress, film director and screenwriter, People’s Artist of Russia.
The message reads:

Vera Glagoleva was a wonderful and talented person. Millions of people knew, appreciated, and loved her work, while her colleagues considered her a true master endlessly devoted to high art and her craft.
Her passing is an irreplaceable loss for our culture. But we will always have the roles Vera Glagoleva’s played and the warm and shining memory of her.
