The message of President of Russia Vladimir Putin reads, in part:
"Over the past years, this valuable project has established some strong traditions and has rightly earned high public recognition. The Games perform an important mission of bringing together young talents from the CIS and promoting the preservation of our common cultural heritage and the strengthening of good neighborly relations and mutual understanding between people. It is a pleasure to see that these artistic competitions are aimed at introducing young men and women to the best samples of classical and modern art. Participation in the Games is a unique opportunity for young artists to demonstrate their abilities and take their first steps towards a successful career."
